A dental implant is an artificial tooth consisting of a root and a natural looking replacement tooth. We use titanium for the root and porcelain to create the tooth.

Implants can be affected by gum disease as the implant is the same as the gum surrounding your natural teeth. Gum disease can occur if you are lacking in your oral hygiene. It is very important to maintain a good level of brushing, flossing and interdental brushes to clean in between the teeth.
