Important Information for Patients

We have policies in place to protect the practice and our patients.

01

Regular Appointments

You must ensure you are attending regularly every 6 months to 1 year to ensure you remain a patient that can be offered an NHS appointment.

Please also note that long-term registrations to a dental practice do not exist. You are registered to the dental practice for 8 weeks during your treatment time. Beyond that, you are not registered.

02

Safeguarding

It is part of our patient care to ensure we are safe guarding our patients.

If we have any cause of concern for the safety of a child or a vulnerable person we hold the right to report this to social services.

03

Deregistrations

Unfortunately we are unable to send out letters to every patient. It is important to keep on top of your own patient appointments to ensure registration.

We are unable to send reminders for any appointments. Deregistrations are done automatically. If you fail to attend 2 appointments you will be deregistered.

04

Emergency Dentaline

If you are in pain and you are not registered with a dental practice, you may wish to call the out of hours service on 01634 890300.

We are closed on weekends but Emergency Dentaline will be able to help you.

05

Zero Tolerance

Our staff members do their best to provide the best patient care possible. We have a zero tolerance policy.

We wish to protect our staff and any signs of abusive behaviour, we hold the right to deregister you.

06

Appointment Availability

We are a very busy practice and we cannot guarantee immediate appointments. We can only offer you the next available appointment.

We can offer to put you on a cancellation list but we are unable to offer immediate appointments unless we have cancellations.
